You’ve been meaning to do it.
You’ve talked about it.
You’ve saved inspiration photos.
You’ve said, “We should really get professional photos done.”
And then life gets busy.
Work. Travel. Snowstorms. Vet appointments. Agility trials. The weeks turn into months.
And suddenly… your dog has a little more gray around the muzzle.
No one likes to think about their dog getting older.
But it happens quietly.
One year they’re sprinting through the snow.
The next, they hesitate before jumping into the car.
Before you know it, that black muzzle has softened into silver.
I’ve had clients book bucket list sessions because they could feel time shifting.
I’ve also had clients call to cancel because their pet passed before we could photograph them.
That’s the part no one talks about.
We think we have more time.
The biggest reason people don’t book?
Procrastination.
Not because it doesn’t matter.
Not because they don’t love their dog.
But because life gets in the way.
And yet, after every single session, I hear the same thing:
“We are so glad we did this.”
You won't regret doing it.
But I have seen regret in waiting too long.
One thing I hear often?
“I’m never in photos with my dog.”
You’re the one behind the phone.
You’re the one calling their name.
You’re the one they look at with that face.
Years from now, you won’t just want photos of your dog.
You'll want photos of you together.
That connection matters, perhaps more than anyone realizes.
Yes, phones take great snapshots.
But what most people can’t replicate is:
Patience for the distracted, wiggly, or stubborn pup
The ability to bring out personality
Skilled editing that turns a moment into artwork
Guidance so you feel comfortable and natural
Most of my clients don’t just walk away with digitals.
They choose artwork. Statement pieces. Folio boxes. Albums.
Because these aren’t just files.
They’re legacy pieces.
Right now in New Hampshire, we have:
❄️ Snow sessions (which won’t last forever)
🌸 Spring blooms just around the corner
🏡 A brand-new studio opening in April
If you’ve been thinking about it, this is the season to stop waiting.
If your dog is slowing down.
If they’re turning gray.
If you’ve said “we should really do this.”
That’s your sign.
Book the session.
Freeze the snow zoomies.
Capture the gray muzzle.
Get in the frame.
Because one day, these photographs won’t just be beautiful.
They’ll be everything.
